Only Ted Cruz can beat Donald Trump

Have you seen the ads? You know the "Only Ted Cruz can beat Donald Trump" ads.
They are every place.

What good is Ted Cruz beating Donald Trump if  the establishment republicans will do all that is within their power to insure he looses in the fall. Ted Cruz is hated by the republican establishment. Of that there is no question.
Where Donald Trump is only slightly more palatable to the establishment Republicans. As he appears to be more likely to engage establishment Republicans in policy. Making him less of a threat to their power and influence in Washington.

Jeb Bush.....you remember "low energy Jeb" the party chosen one was and epic fail. Marco failed to take Jeb's place as the party favorite with the Florida loss. Since that happened the powers that be in the Republican party have been playing damage control. The damage that they look to control is in their power structure.
In many ways their "the  establishment Republicans" power is under less of a threat with a Hillary win. So do they take the risk of openly opposing Trump or Cruz?

If the establish Republicans choose to take the hit with a Hillary win and the every day Republican voter gets even a hint that they were sold out. There will be hell to pay. With social media as it is today it would not take much to start even a rumor that the fix was in and the establishment Republicans did what had to be done to throw the election to Hillary. What recourse do these voter have? Third party? With hold campaign contributions? Vote Democrat? All of the above. To what effect? None. The establishment Republicans are still in Washington. They still have their power, perks and privilege. It's just another election defeat as they see it. No big deal.

Effectsof climate change on coffee Production.

Effects of Climate Change on Coffee Production Reduced crop yields are a result of drought in some regions and increased humidity and precipitation in others. For example, increase moisture leads to the proliferation of pests like the Coffee Berry Borer and diseases including ‘la rosa’ or stem rust. Coffee rust hit central American coffee production in 2012-13. As a result, prices for consumers in the U.S. jumped about 33% from 2011 – 2013. Coffee production is dependent on predictable cycles of rainfall, dry periods and temperature changes. Coffee typically flowers when there’s a dry period followed by significant rainfall. Generally, a dry period of three months is necessary to stress the coffee plant and produce flowers. However, a shorter dry period and extended rainfall can result in reduced flowers. Fluctuations in weather patterns such as precipitation, temperature, storms, strong winds, and other extreme weather patterns can negatively affect the quality and production l

Trump is removing US Secret Service director

Israel..... put up or shut up on US involvement on UN vote.

Israel say it has proof that the US was behind the resent UN vote that is causing a diplomatic earth quake. John Kerry denies the charge in strongest of "diplomatic" terms.    So will Israel have to put up or shut up? Not really.   Israel spy's on the US  as we spy on them. To "put up" would be to do exactly what Obama would want. To publicly expose there (Israel's) intelligence gathering ability for all to see would do greater harm than a UN vote.  Obama and John Kerry are soon out of power. Israel knows it and Trump knows it This childish in your face move by Obama and Kerry will fade as surely as Hillary Clinton has.  Obama takes a parting shot at Israel
