NFL calls and audible on anthem protest.

The stage is set for a epic battle this weekend on the fields of the NFL. The battle just may not be what you would expect. Not two top shelf teams in a do or die game. Not a long standing record that is poised to fall.

It's the ongoing "Take A Knee" protest during the playing of the national anthem. Goodell has stated,  "Like many of our fans, we believe that everyone should stand for the national anthem," the statement read in part. "It is an important moment in our game. We want to honor our flag and our country, and our fans expect that of us."  The player's are not having any of that. Some (not all) are prepared to push this protest to the bitter end.

Buccaneers lineman predicts uproar if players forced to stand for anthem-2017-10

Just what is that end? Fans give up and just get a finger stuck in their eye with is on going protest? Players find a new more productive way to draw attention to what they see as a problem? The NFL take back control of their league and stop having their brand tarnished by a few players who are hell bent on not backing down in public showing weakness.

The NFL is in one hell of a hole and they just keep digging. The players have the goose who laid the golden egg buy the neck and are squeezing.  The sooner the NFL and the players realize that what they "want" is not the answer. It's what the fans want and expect. Loose sight of that and the NFL dies and the player's can stand on their head during the playing of the national anthem and no one will notice or care.

It's 4th and goal make the call.

Effectsof climate change on coffee Production.

Effects of Climate Change on Coffee Production Reduced crop yields are a result of drought in some regions and increased humidity and precipitation in others. For example, increase moisture leads to the proliferation of pests like the Coffee Berry Borer and diseases including ‘la rosa’ or stem rust. Coffee rust hit central American coffee production in 2012-13. As a result, prices for consumers in the U.S. jumped about 33% from 2011 – 2013. Coffee production is dependent on predictable cycles of rainfall, dry periods and temperature changes. Coffee typically flowers when there’s a dry period followed by significant rainfall. Generally, a dry period of three months is necessary to stress the coffee plant and produce flowers. However, a shorter dry period and extended rainfall can result in reduced flowers. Fluctuations in weather patterns such as precipitation, temperature, storms, strong winds, and other extreme weather patterns can negatively affect the quality and producti...

Israel..... put up or shut up on US involvement on UN vote.

Israel say it has proof that the US was behind the resent UN vote that is causing a diplomatic earth quake. John Kerry denies the charge in strongest of "diplomatic" terms.    So will Israel have to put up or shut up? Not really.   Israel spy's on the US  as we spy on them. To "put up" would be to do exactly what Obama would want. To publicly expose there (Israel's) intelligence gathering ability for all to see would do greater harm than a UN vote.  Obama and John Kerry are soon out of power. Israel knows it and Trump knows it This childish in your face move by Obama and Kerry will fade as surely as Hillary Clinton has.  Obama takes a parting shot at Israel
